Welcome to GRNSW’s Racing Week Ahead where we update participants with our upcoming events for the following week, highlighting several of those events for which nominations close over the next seven days.
The TAB Million Dollar Chase is now in full swing with more heats next week around the State.
We begin at Taree on Wednesday August 24 when they host their regional heats of the TAB Million Dollar Chase over the 537m with a $7,000 final.
On the same night at Wentworth Park there will 5th grade heats over the 720m with an $8,000 final.
At Casino on Thursday August 25 we have 5th grade heats over the 484m with a $5,000 final as well as maiden heats over the 484m with a $3,000 final.
On Friday August 26 we have TAB Million Dollar Chase Regional Heats at both Goulburn over the 440m and Richmond over the 520m, each with $7,000 finals.
On Saturday August 27 Dubbo host TAB Million Dollar Chase Regional Heats over the 516m with a $7,000 final as well as 5th grade heats over 400m with a $2,000 final.
Broken Hill have their heat day of the TAB Million Dollar Chase over the 525m on Sunday August 28. It will also be a $7,000 final and the club will also have 375m maiden heats with a $1,700 final.
Both Nowra and Maitland have their TAB Million Dollar Chase Regional Heats on Monday August 29, Nowra over the 520m and Maitland the 450m with both finals worth $7,000. Maitland will also have maiden heats over the 400m with a $2,000 final.
On Tuesday August 30 the Richmond Straight has 5th grade heats with a $2,000 final.
And finally, also on August 30, Temora has 5th grade heats over the 457m with a $5,000 final and maiden heats over the 457m with a $3,000 final.
Trainers should check the calendar on thedogs.com.au site for specific conditions that may be applicable to some events.
