GRNSW's Racing Week Ahead

By GRNSW
There is always plenty happening for greyhound participants both in and out of the industry, and that has only increased in recent times.

To help keep everyone across some of the upcoming events, and make sure you don’t miss anything, each Friday afternoon Greyhound Racing NSW will publish a Weekly Update, highlighting several of those events for which nominations close over the next seven days.

While the big Group events will always receive extra coverage, and the calendar on thedogs.com.au will remain the place where participants can see all the upcoming racing, the Weekly Update will hand pick a few of the smaller features which may entice participants.

First up this week on Thursday, March 3, Dapto will host their heat of the STOCKMAN & Paddock Country Classic over the 600m with the first four advancing to the semi-finals at Dubbo on March 12.

Also on Thursday, Casino will stage 1-3 win heats over the 484m with a $2,500 to the winner final.

On Friday, March 4, Wagga Wagga has 5th grade heats over the 400m with a $1,900 to the winner final, while Dubbo will host their heat of the STOCKMAN & Paddock Country Classic over the 605m.

Later that day Wentworth Park will have two Golden Easter Egg Preludes over the 520m, while both Grafton (660m) and The Gardens (600m) will host heats of the STOCKMAN & Paddock Country Classic.

On Sunday, March 6, Temora hosts the final of their feature event the Temora Cup, and will also stage a heat of the STOCKMAN & Paddock Country Classic over the 570m trip.
