Following its meeting this week, Greyhounds Australasia has announced that the adoption of the new National Rules will be deferred to 1 May 2022 to allow for further IT integration between state systems. The GA announcement can be found here: Greyhounds Australasia News (galtd.org.au)
Participants should note that the new Local Rules will, however, commence on 1 February as planned. These can be found here: GWIC New Local Rules explained | Greyhounds Welfare Integrity Commission (nsw.gov.au). These new Local Rules relate to Pin-firing, Abandoned Greyhounds, Breeding Exemptions, Lay Betting and Participants from another state who are operating in NSW. Please familiarise yourself with these new Local Rules.
