The Wagga & District Greyhound Racing Club is delighted to be able to announce that next Friday’s meeting, on August 27, will carry extra prizemoney thanks to the generous support of sponsors Ladbrokes.
Ladbrokes have added an extra $1,000 in prizemoney for the winner of every race on the program.
"Ladbrokes is a very strong supporter of greyhound racing in NSW and in particular in regional areas,” Ladbrokes CEO Dean Shannon said.
“We know with COVID restrictions in place across much of the state it is much harder for owners and trainers to travel their dogs and to chase larger prize pools.
“That's why we are thrilled to put an extra $1,000 in prizemoney up for grabs for the winner of every race on the Wagga card.”
Nominations for the Wagga meeting on August 27, closed on Tuesday, August 24 at 9am.
