Salacious Puts Unbeaten Record On The Line

By Peter Davis
Highly promising youngster She’s Salacious steps up to 472m and puts her unbeaten record on the line at Bulli tonight.

A daughter of Group 1 winner Aston Dee Bee, has won her only three starts – at Nowra when on debut just three weeks back – over 365m – in a sharp 20.53 seconds, saluting by a remarkable 17 lengths.

Seven days later, she again landed in front and her closest rivals a clear 10 lengths away (in 20.45 secs) when it mattered most.

Trainer Peter Sims stepped the fawn bitch up in class and distance for a Bulli assignment over 400m on June 8 and she again dazzled (from box 1) to score in a slick 22.33 secs.

Her three wins – each as a long odds on favourite - have totalled 39¾ lengths and she’s proven to be a faultless beginner.

This time, the fawn bitch again rises in distance, to 472m but yet the manner of how she ran ‘Through the line’ last time was super impressive. Her final section was a very quick 6.38 secs.

Box eight might not be an ideal draw yet high speed sets her apart from her rivals and bookmakers will again take no risks with this quality Illabo-based lass.

In the night’s opening event, the well related Bandit Bonnie is expected to break Through at start two.

A daughter of the well performed Bombshell Bandit (15 career wins), Bandit Bonnie is a litter brother to the smart Bandit Ned.

She bombed the start over 340m at Bulli on debut seven days back (when heavily backed) and finished only fourth after running into mid-race traffic.

Given a clean start from the inside trap, she can account for what is a very quiet maiden line-up.

The first of 10 races at Bulli tonight is at 6.48pm.
