Announcement In Relation To Patrons Attending Wentworth Park

By GRNSW
Greyhound Racing NSW (GRNSW), after consultation with the Greyhound Welfare & Integrity Commission (GWIC) and the Greyhound Breeders, Owners & Trainers Association (GBOTA), have made the decision that no spectators will be permitted to attend the meeting at Wentworth Park on January 2.

Given the current situation regarding COVID-19 and the health advice provided, it was agreed upon by all parties, that it would be best if the meeting went ahead tomorrow night with only participants and working staff on track.

Trainers, handlers and owners will be permitted to attend, but the usual strict COVID-19 protocols will be in place.

Each person entering Wentworth Park will be temperature tested, and must return a recording of 37.4 degrees celsius or below in order to be granted entry, and electronic check in is required for every person who enters the venue via the NSW Health approved QR code, available at each entry point.

All patrons must be seated whilst consuming food and beverages at all times whilst inside, and physical distancing must be practised at all times inside and outside.

Face masks are not mandatory at this time however it is strongly recommended to participants that you wear a mask when 1.5m physical distancing may not always be practical.

All participants are reminded to practise safe and healthy hygiene with hand sanitiser readily available throughout the venue, and importantly, if you are unwell or displaying any symptoms, do not attend the venue.
