Greyhound Racing NSW (GRNSW) can advise participants that following a final inspection of the track on Friday morning, that trialling and racing can now recommence at the Maitland.
The inspection, undertaken by GRNSW and the University of Technology’s Professor David Eager who conducted the independent investigation into a number of racing incidents in April, passed the track safe to return to racing following remedial work which has been completed over the past four weeks.
Trialling will recommence on Saturday, May 30, while the Maitland club will host a race meeting next Thursday, June 4. At that meeting, racing will be programmed over the 400m and 450m distances.
