Bit Flash may be a bit too quick

By The Dogs News Desk
With city racing at Wentworth Park set to resume next Saturday night, trainers will no doubt be targeting their chasers towards the increased prize money on offer there and Bit Flash is certain to be one of those in line for an upcoming appearance at the Glebe circuit.

Tonight at Richmond, he draws Box 1 in Race 8 in what is without a doubt the most anticipated race, taking on a quality field with the likes of Fire On Ice and Roused sure to provide some tough opposition.

Trained by Michael Clayton, Bit Flash has now had 3 starts over the 535m trip at Richmond and after winning first up in 30.69, he blew the jump and struck trouble when tailing the field in at his next effort.

Last Friday, he was back to his best when he went a sizzling 5.20 to the first mark, before defeating Poacher in a slick 30.51.

The winner of 3 races from 6 starts off the rails draw, the Wagga 400m track record holder maps to get clear air at box-rise with average beginners drawn to his outside and our Richmond form expert expects him to find the front and be the one to beat.
