Racing returns to Casino today

By The Dogs News Desk
After a Covid-19 enforced hiatus, greyhound racing returns to the popular Northern Rivers venue of Casino today with the opening event due to get underway at 12.04pm.

There’s a 10 race card to be decided with the Race 6, the FFA sprint over 411m, shaping up to be one of the most hotly contested races of the day as the pre-post favourite Greb’s Drinking is looking to make it 4 wins on the bounce after a hat-trick of victories at Lismore this month.

The central coast venue of Gosford will host a full house of 12 races in the afternoon timeslot with Race 1 scheduled to start at 2.54pm.

Three Heats of the 1-3 wins series over 515m see some smart chasers engaged and a great clash looms in the first leg of the quaddie with Barbaresco looking to bounce back into winning form after coming up with the rails alley.

Punters can then turn their attention to the ‘world famous’ Dapto dogs with the first of 11 races there set to jump at 7.14pm.

It looks to be a tough meeting on paper so hopefully that will result in some good value for punters but don’t forget, you can watch every NSW greyhound race ‘live’ at our new website – www.thedogs.com.au – and if you’re looking for the best tips, our Form Experts have been in sensational form this week and we also have exclusive Video Previews of every meeting.

It promises to be a big Thursday of chasing action across the state and everything you need to spot a winner is right here at www.thedogs.com.au
