Vale - Cliff Clark

By Jeff Collerson

Cliffy Clark, who trained the crack Wentworth Park sprinter Boss Number One during 2009 and 2010, passed away on Monday morning after a long illness.

Clark, who turned 78 in February, won 18 races with Boss Number One, who won top grade races at Wentworth Park in April and July, 2010.

He is survived by his wife of 55 years, Cathy, who said: "Cliff raced greyhounds before we were married so he must have trained them for close to 60 years.''

Funeral arrangements will be announced shortly.

GRNSW offers condolences to Cliff’s family and friends.
