Santa headed to a big night at Richmond on Friday

It might still be five sleeps until the big guy from the North Pole climbs down the chimneys of children around the world, but the Richmond Racing Club is getting into the Christmas spirit early, with a huge night planned for this Friday, December 20, and Santa set to spend the night at the dogs.

Apart from 10 quality events, featuring three fifth grade finals all worth $3,000 to the winner, the GRNSW Middle Distance Series event, and also an appearance from Sam Sultana’s flying speedster Caviar Quality, it will be a night packed full of entertainment and activities for the entire family.

Trackside on Friday will be a live band, jumping castle, entertainment for children, face painting, lolly bag and present for the kids, a Christmas hamper raffle, and of course, an appearance by the big guy in the red suit … Santa Claus.

It’s not only the perfect night for racegoers to attend, but a great opportunity for all in the local community to head to the track and celebrate Christmas a few days early.

First race on Friday is 7.52pm.
