Greyhound Racing NSW and NSW TAB Clubs with the ongoing support of Ladbrokes, have formulated a middle-distance staying series for industry.
The series will incorporate the Ladbrokes Red Dog initiative with GRNSW also contributing to make all events worth $5,000 to the winner. The events will be conducted across all grades over the middle distance at tracks.
The events will ensure that middle distance greyhounds have the chance to race for City prizemoney levels and provide additional opportunities across the state. Once again an exciting new initiative on behalf of TAB Clubs, Ladbrokes and GRNSW.
GRNSW CEO Tony Mestrov commented that GRNSW in conjunction with our TAB Club network have listened to feedback provided by industry to ensure that all greyhounds and participants have the opportunity to race for maximum prizemoney returns.
NSW GBOTA CEO Steve Noyce agreed that initiatives of this nature are important for grass roots participants of our industry and with this type of racing being conducted across the state, it gives everyone the opportunity to race for increased prizemoney levels.
