ZIPPING Truvy, whose powerful finishing win in a heat of the group 1 Ladbrokes Peter Mosman Opal was so impressive she was sent out a $4.40 chance in the final, drops back to fourth grade when she exits box one for the first time on Saturday night.
The Robbie Tyler-trained greyhound, who has won three of just four starts, will wear the red rug in the 520m Ladbrokes Cash Out Stakes.
ZIPPING Truvy has not raced since finishing strongly into fourth place in Start A Riot's Opal final at Wentworth Park on July 13 but Tyler said she is raring to go on Saturday night.
"She has been kept moving since the Opal final and I took her Wenty on Tuesday night and dragged her around behind the lure,'' trainer Robbie Tyler said.
"ZIPPING Truvy looks to have a good draw because she rails well and Telegraph Road, who has box two, should give her room to move when they jump.
"When I once put Telegraph Road into the starting boxes for his trainer Chris Carl, the dog stepped to the right when he jumped so if he does that again on Saturday it will help ZIPPING Truvy.''
Trainer Jason Magri's outstanding bitch ZIPPING Mitzy has had to be retired after falling and breaking a wrist in a race at Wentworth Park, but her owners Fiona and Marty Hallinan have given him a promising replacement in ZIPPING Byron.
A runaway winner in the fastest time of the night at Gosford on Tuesday, ZIPPING Byron, who is just 22 months old, makes his Wentworth Park debut in Saturday's Ladbrokes Cash In Stakes, a fifth grade 520m event.
"ZIPPING Byron handled box seven well when he led all the way at Gosford so seems to be drawn okay in box six on Saturday,'' trainer Jason Magri said.
"He has an empty box on his left so he should be hard to beat.''
Magri believes his middle distance performer Narcissist can run an improved race in Saturday's 720m Nationals Night Stakes, a fourth and fifth grade event.
Narcissist followed two blistering wins over 618m at Richmond with a fading seventh at his first Wentworth Park720m appearance last Saturday.
"He lost the turn near the 520m boxes completely last week but if he finds the front on Saturday we might see a different dog,'' Magri said.
"I don't think Narcissist is ever going to be a strong stayer but he is a capable of picking up a 720m race if he can make the pace.
"Saturday's race looks winnable although Ebby Ripper's win over 732m at Ipswich last Saturday night was a massive effort.''
Litter brothers Shanjo Prince and Tennessee Tiger, relatively new additions to trainer Mark Gatt's kennels, will carry favourite backers' hopes in Saturday night's opening events.
Shanjo Prince has box eight in race one, a 520m fifth grade, while Tennessee Tiger has drawn one in race two, a similar event.
Gatt considers both greyhounds prefer to be drawn wide so Shanjo Prince looks to have particularly strong claims.
The dog has not had box eight in nine starts but has drawn box seven twice and won on each occasion.
Tennessee Tiger bungled the start from box seven when a fast finishing second to Ides Of Jebrynah at Wentworth Park last Saturday and is likely to get wide from his inside trap on Saturday.
But while Gatt said Tennessee Tiger is always inclined to miss the jump, the rails draw can often help "drag'' a slow starter out on equal terms with rivals.
If that happens on Saturday the Thirlmere trainer could land a winning duoble.
