Two Times Twice, the 2018 Queensland Derby winner who is a litter brother to Poco Dorado, Blue Moon Rising and Veloce Nero, was a fast-finishing second last week at his first outing for Nambeelup (WA) trainer Enzo Crudeli.
Two Times Twice gave the leader eight lengths' start at the half-way mark in a 647m event at Mandurah and went down by less than a length.
"The owners sold him to WA because Two Times Twice turned three in April and being a dead-set middle distance dog there are opportunities for him to earn a lot of prizemoney at Cannington and Mandurah,'' Minnie Finn, whose husband John trained the dog in Sydney, said.
"I reckon Two Times Twice will knock up winning races in the west.''

Feral Franky's trainer Raymond "Jack'' Smith continued his winning ways with Irinka Lizzy and Irinka Sadie, two totally home-grown products, at Bathurst on Monday.
Irinka Lizzy took her tally to 11 wins and a dozen placings from 30 starts when she defeated Double Up Dee by two lengths in a slick 25.90s over 450m.
Irinka Lizzy had taken a tumble at her previous start, at The Meadows on June 29, but showed she had taken no harm from that mishap by coming from second early and hitting the front approaching the home bend.
She is by Irinka Luca, who won 23 of 53 races for Smith, and was produced by Irinka Alice, another greyhound trained by "the mayor of Forbes.''
Irinka Luca was sired by Irinka Dennis, who won 13 from 36 starts for Smith and posted 29.94s and 29.98s at Wentworth Park when 30s was seldom bettered for the 520m journey at headquarters.
Second leg of Smith's Bathurst double on Monday came from up-and-coming star Irinka Sadie, who maintained her unbeaten record with an outstanding 26.06s 450m win.
Irinka Sadie, who was a distant fifth in the early stages, is a daughter of Smith's fan favourite Brad Hill Billy, who retired with 35 wins and 37 placings from 94 appearances.
Irinka Rose, the mother of Irinka Sadie, is an older full sister to Irinka Lizzy, Smith's other Bathurst winner.

Friskey emerged victorious in the battle of the short coursers at Nowra on Monday, leading throughout for a comfortable 365m win over One For Tod in a fast 20.63s.
The daughter of Keybow, trained by Patrick Mulrine, now boasts the amazing strike rate of 30 wins from 47 starts.
The Shane Pulbrook-trained One For Tod, Friskey's arch rival, was not disgraced in being runner-up, as he had drawn poorly in box seven and found trouble.
One For Tod has chased Friskey home at their two most recent meetings at Nowra, but defeated Mulrine's greyhound in a 280m event at WP on April 5.

AUCTION of stud services and other items to aid the Atkins family, who lost three children in a fire at SINGLETON last month, will now be conducted on-line from now until August 30.
The auction was originally to take place at LADBROKES GARDENS on August 30, the night of the group 2 Black Top, but due to time constraints during that race meeting bids must now be lodged on-line.
Raffles and the presentation of funds to the Atkins family will still be made trackside on Black Top night.
