Chief Havoc Cup
While she had tremendous success at home last week winning the Ladbrokes Gold Cup and the Peg and Bill Miller Memorial Final, Dubbo trainer Charmaine Roberts is always happy to travel with her dogs, and she again enjoyed good results, this time in Gunnedah on Sunday, winning two heats of the Ladbrokes Chief Havoc Cup.
Jingles Keeping set the time standard for the heats, posting 30.26s, while kennelmate Nikita Keeping overcame early trouble to charge home to win in 30.92s.
Roberts had one other runner at the meeting, and Bentley Keeping also saluted, winning over 340m.
The other Chief Havoc Cup heat went to the Stephen Keep-trained LUCILLE Rumble in 30.49s.
The final will be a part of a huge twilight meeting next Sunday.

Origin Greyhound Series
The box draws were conducted on Monday for Thursday night’s Origin Greyhound Series, with NSW still a very warm favourite to take out the series.
Queensland won the inaugural Origin Greyhound Series last year, taking out the sprint and the staying event, while NSW won the match-race.
The draw for the Sprint is: 1 Dam Slippery, 2 Zipping Bailey, 3 Mystic Riot, 4 Jamella Jet, 5 Maurice Minor, 6 Regal Recall, 7 Regal Topaz, 8 Good Odds Harada. Reserves: 9 Silver Stunner, 10 Buck’s Future.
The draw for the Staying event is: 1 Little Digger (pictured), 2 Double Gee, 3 Blue Moon Rising, 4 Bago Bye Bye, 5 Infrared Lad, 6 Bago Bluff, 7 Poco Dorado, 8 Veloce Nero. Reserves: 9 Hara’s Dazza, 10 Two Times Twice.
In the match-race, NSW greyhound Feral Franky has drawn box 1, with Infrared Star to start from box 3.

Bathurst Adoption Day
It may have been the opening day of winter but after a cool start, Bathurst turned on a tremendous day for their first regional Adoption Day on Saturday.
Another seven dogs found forever homes as a result of the day, with the overall adoption number for the year moving closer to the goal of 650.
Another Adoption Day will be held in Sydney on June, with more details to follow later this week.

Vale ROY Dockery
ROY Dockery, a truly great Australian and greyhound racing devotee for over 80 years, passed away on Sunday, aged 97.
Dockery was among the most loved patrons at almost every Wentworth Park meeting from the end of World War II until a fall late last year prevented him from attending the sport he loved so much.
There will be a minute's silence for ROY Dockery at Wednesday night's Wentworth Park meeting.
Greyhound racing also lost another stalwart with the passing of Kevin Kelly on Saturday.
GRNSW wishes to pass on condolences to family and friends of both ROY and Kevin.

NSW Bred series comes to town
The first round of the NSW Bred series at Wentworth Park will be held on Wednesday with four strong heats of maidens.
Among the interesting runners on Wednesday will be of the John Finn-trained Lobo Veloz in the first heat, race 1. She is the unraced sister to Ladbrokes Magic Maiden winner Timeless Moment out of that litter – Barcia Bale-Chica Destacada.
Another one to watch will be Ray Smith’s Irinka Sadie, who has been very impressive winning two trials at Dubbo. She will race in heat two of the series.
