GWIC naming applications now available online

GWIC’s new online portal was launched on Monday 27 May 2019 with Greyhound Naming Applications the first online service to be offered to NSW greyhound racing participants.

The Commission’s new online portal, which can be accessed via their website, will make processing regular transactions more efficient for participants starting with naming applications this week, and registration renewals to follow in June.

Participants can now submit naming application requests online which will then be sent directly to Greyhounds Australasia for processing. Once complete, participants will be able to see their named greyhound in myOzChase and the Commission will dispatch the greyhound’s registration card and weight book.

If a transfer of a greyhound is required, participants are advised the ‘Application to Transfer Ownership of a Greyhound’ form needs to be submitted to the Commission before completing the new online form.

The introduction of online services has been a priority of the Commission since it commenced to improve services offered to NSW greyhound participants. Additional online services will be rolled out throughout 2019 prioritising the transactions completed most frequently by participants.
