Smart provincial sprinter Pandemonium is scheduled to make his keenly anticipated Wentworth Park debut on Wednesday night after winning in brilliant style at Maitland on Thursday.
The Mark Moroney-trained 21 months old youngster won over 400m in a smart 22.38, taking his record to four wins, two seconds and a third from seven starts.
"Pandemonium has just come back after spending three months on the sidelines with a cracked wrist,'' Moroney said.
"But I feel he is ready to come to town now so will be nominating him for Wenty on Wednesday.
"Although he only won over 400m on Thursday he has won over 515m at Gosford, clocking 29.45 early in January.
"I only have two greyhounds in work at the moment and plan to enter Pandemonium's sister Sweet Fire All for a 720m race at WP on Wednesday.
"She won over 565m at Maitland last Thursday week, clocking 32.15, and I believe she is going to develop into a handy stayer.''
While Mark Moroney has long been a truck driver, he has bred, owned and trained greyhounds as a hobby since the 1990s.
He won 15 races with Tick Away Fire, the dam of Pandemonium and Sweet Fire All, while Tick Away Fire's mother Cathella Ice won 17 for Moroney, with her dam and grand-dam, Intent's Fire and Sydney Fire, winning 19 races for the affable truckie.

CRAIG Chappelow has not had a starter for six months but is ready to return to the sport he loves, with his unraced greyhound Meshuga scoring an impressive win in a 520m performance trial at Dapto on Thursday night.
"I was very happy with the way Meshuga went, especially because she showed determination when she bumped another dog out of the way at the first turn,'' Chappelow said.
"When she was being broken in I began despairing whether she was going to make it as a racer, because she was all over the place, a real scatter-brain.
"That's how she got her name, because my partner Samantha is Jewish and apparently Meshuga is a Yiddish expression meaning 'crazy.'
"We bred Meshuga from my brood bitch Provoked, who won twice at Wentworth Park and in a previous litter whelped Cosmical, a winner of 13 races, Prevail, who won a dozen, and Enrage, winner of six races.
"If that litter had a fault it was that they tended to lack strength at the finish of 520m so I put Provoked to My Bro Fabio hoping to infuse a bit more stamina into the pups, and Meshuga is the first one to appear in public.''

FORMER Wentworth Park idol Knight Sprite (pictured), who won 34 of 99 races and over $238,000 in stakes, is yet to become a father but his litter sister Nyxie produced a winner at Maitland last Thursday.
Knight's Page, by Barcia Bale from Nyxie, is just 21 months of age but scored his second win in sx starts, zipping over 450m in 25.16 for an impressive win.
Gayle Masterson, who trained Knight Sprite and Nyxie, said: "Knight Sprite is a pet at home and will be forever, although a local breeder is keen to use him as a sire when a bitch he owns comes in season.
"Nyxie won only three races but while she had ability, I didn't persevere with her for too long as she injured both stopper bones and my veterinary surgeon advised that to continue racing her would risk doing her serious harm.
"I thought too much of her to take that gamble so she also became a pet, although her son Knight's Page is doing her proud on the track.''
