After night 1 of the neds Friday Night Lightning, it is Swan Bay trainer Allan Ivers (58) who sits atop the trainer's leader board.
Nominating 12 greyhounds for the innovative series, Ivers was always going to be a strong chance in the trainer's leader board. Following strong performances from his greys Danni Said No (1st, Race 6, 16.20sec), Dark Layali (2nd, Race 3, 16.67sec) and Bella Dixie (3rd, Race 3, 16.81sec), Ivers has no set himself up as a strong contender to take out the top gong.
In second place is Rodney McDonald of Cowra (49), who trained the fastest greyhound on the night in Dana Ali (4) who went around the 280m circuit in a time of 15.89sec in Race 5.
