Zipping Mitzy sent favourite backers home happy at Wentworth Park on Saturday night and her brother and kennelmate Zipping Falcon is poised to do the same tonight.
Zipping Falcon, like Zipping Mitzy, is trained by Jason Magri and he will exit box two in the 520m WP On Facebook Stakes, a 520m fourth grade.
On Saturday Zipping Mitzy was a heavily backed odds-on favourite and did the right thing by punters, taking an early lead and winning by seven lengths in 29.58, fastest time of the night.
Zipping Falcon has won two of his four races from box two, the draw he has tonight, and punters supporting the dog tonight should only be banking on him beginning cleanly.
When he jumps smartly Zipping Falcon can "run the hands off the clock.''
He bungled the start badly when unplaced at Wentworth Park in late October but Zipping Falcon had won in sizzling times of 29.60 and 29.73 at his two previous starts at headquarters.
At his most recent outing on November 8, Zipping Falcon was far from disgraced when third to Miss Splendamiro in a Melbourne Cup Prelude at Sandown, which was a far tougher assignment than tonight's event.
Bobby The Jett's rails draw gives him a good chance of notching his second win in five Wentworth Park appearances in tonight's Ladbrokes Daily Video Stakes, a 520m fifth grade.
Bobby The Jett had box seven when beaten nine lengths into second place at Wentworth Park last Wednesday night but is far better positioned on the inside tonight.
Last week Bobby The Jett "walked'' out of the boxes but after finding the rails at the first turn collided with another dog and lost more ground.
Although beaten a long way his effort to come from a distant fourth on the back straight and finish second to Nangar Blaze, who clocked the brilliant time of 29.88sec, was good.
"Bobby The Jett is well suited in box one because he does not have much early pace,'' trainer Mark Gatt said.
"But he is capable of coming out of the boxes a lot better than he did last week, he just has not been jumping well lately.''
Michael Clayton trained Are Jai Que to win 19 of 32 races and has two of her offspring, Secret Moves and Secret Talks, engaged at Wentworth Park tonight.
Secret Moves, who has won four of his past five provincial races, makes his Wentworth Park debut from box three in the 520m Book Your Xmas Party Now Stakes, a 520m fifth grade, while Secret Talks has drawn six in another 520m fifth grade, the Duke's Ladbrokes Previews Stakes.
"There is not much between these siblings although Secret Talks is probably a shade quicker,'' Clayton said.
"I'm disappointed he has drawn box six because that same draw brought him unstuck at Wenty last Wednesday.
"He missed the jump and then collided with another dog before coming from a long way back to finish third, beaten less than two lengths.
"But if he is left alone in the run to the first turn Secret Talks has a good chance because he will not charge across to the rails, he will run in a straight line from the boxes to the corner.
"Secret Moves has drawn better in box three although he only trialled 30.70 when I put him around solo in a 520m hit-out at Wentworth Park last week.
"But I wouldn't take much notice of those slow figures because Secret Moves has never put time on the clock when trialling on his own, he goes a lot better in races, as his recent form shows.''
Secret Moves' toughest rival looks to be Fantastic Yankee, who had won four of six provincial starts before a strong finishing second at his Wenty debut on Saturday night.
