THE funeral will be held on Wednesday for Ron Field, who lost his battle with cancer recently and has died, aged 62.
Ron Field trained Media Ban to win the Bankstown City Cup at Potts Park in 2013 and was also the trainer of Oh Watta Nite, who won 20 of 38 races between 2010 and 2012, She's So Pretty, who won on debut at Wentworth Park in 2008, and Miss All Class, winner of six races in 2014 and 2015.
Miss All Class became the dam of Field's most recent winner Winxette, who has won four races this year.
Ron Field's funeral will be held at St Thomas More Catholic Church, 43 Acacia Ave., Ruse, at 10.30 on Wednesday.
