Wentworth Park and Richmond Trial Days

Greyhound Racing NSW (GRNSW) advises participants that Wentworth Park will be conducting a Performance Trial session on Tuesday 20 February for those greyhounds looking to qualify for the Magic Maiden event at Wentworth Park on Wednesday 14 March.

Participants are advised that in order to make the most of the session, nominations for 280m performance trials will also be accepted. 280m trials will occur following the drawing of all 520m nominations, preference will be given to all 520m performance trial nominations.

280m greyhounds will not be eligible for the 2018 Group 3 Ladbrokes Magic Maiden series unless they have met the relevant GRNSW Grading Policy criteria at the time of nomination closing for the series. 

Nominations close 9am Friday 16 February for the performance trial session.

This trial session will be conducted as a Twilight session, with the first performance trial commencing at 5.45pm. Kennels open at 4:30pm and close at 5:15pm.

Clearance trials will also be available, and participants are encouraged to contact the Stewards Department to book this in no later than 4pm, Monday 19 February.

All greyhounds trialing will be required to be kenneled, including clearance trial greyhounds. The clearance trials will commence at the conclusion of the performance trials. 



Richmond will be holding a clearance trial session on Thursday 22 February.

This trial session will be conducted on Thursday morning, starting at 8:30am.

Clearance trials are to be booked through the GRNSW Stewards Department no later than 4pm, Wednesday 21 February
