Decision - Raymond Smith

On 15 November 2017 the Greyhound Racing NSW (GRNSW) Inquiry Panel charged trainer Mr Raymond Smith under rule 83(2) of the GRNSW Greyhound Racing Rules as follows:

That you, Raymond Smith, a registered trainer, while in charge of the greyhound ‘Dandy Jack’, presented the greyhound for the purpose of competing in race ten at Dubbo on 8 September 2017 in circumstances where the greyhound was not free of any prohibited substance.

The prohibited substance was tolfenamic acid. 

Following Mr Smith’s admission to the charge and consideration of all relevant factors, the GRNSW Inquiry Panel determined to impose a fine of $500.
