On 1 November 2017 the Greyhound Racing NSW (GRNSW) Inquiry Panel charged trainer Mr Jamie Saunders under rule 101(2)(b) of the GRNSW Greyhound Racing Rules as follows:
That you, Jamie Saunders, a registered owner, on or around 17 August 2017, permitted an unlicensed person to train greyhound owned by you.
Following the admission of the charge by Mr Saunders, the GRNSW Inquiry Panel determined to impose a fine of $1000 wholly suspended on the condition that Mr Saunders does not breach the Rules for a period of 12 months.
