On 1 November 2017 the GRNSW Inquiry Panel charged trainer, Mr Kenneth Markham under rule 101(2)(b) of the GRNSW Greyhound Racing Rules as follows:
That you, Kenneth Markham, a registered trainer, on or around 17 August 2017, permitted an unlicensed person to train a greyhound trained by you at the time.
Following the admission of the charge by Mr Markham, the Inquiry Panel determined to impose a fine of $1,000 wholly suspended on the condition that Mr Markham does not breach the Rules for a period of 12 months.
