On 1 November 2017 the GRNSW Inquiry Panel Charged trainer Ms Anne Hector under rule 83(2) of the GRNSW Greyhound Racing Rules as follows:
That you, Anne Hector, a registered trainer, while in Charge of the greyhound ‘Elusive Ava’, presented the greyhound for the purpose of competing in race six at Richmond on 30 August 2017 in circumstances where the greyhound was not free of any prohibited substance.
The prohibited substance was arsenic.
Following Ms Hector’s early admission to the Charge, the GRNSW Inquiry Panel has determined to impose a fine of $625.
