Rohan Hill Lines Up For Five Straight

By thedogs.com.au

Rohan Hill will be aiming for five straight wins when he lines up in Wentworth Park tonight.

The JODIE Lord-trained greyhound has had a terrific month winning four races, including three over the 520m at Wentworth Park.

He will look to continue that unbeaten streak tonight when he jumps from box seven in the free-for-all Ladbrokes Money Wire Stakes (race eight, 520m).

Rohan Hill will have to be at his best though as he takes on a strong field of sprinters which includes the Christine Proctor-trained duo Chevy King and Sound Advice.

Chevy King and Sound Advice both come into the race off last start wins at Wentworth Park and both should be competitive in tonight’s race.

Lord looks to have a very strong hand at Wentworth Park on Saturday night, with her Canberra Cup winner, Champion Model taking part in the 5th grade Ladbrokes Odds Boost Stakes (race six, 520m).

Champion Model could not have been more impressive in winning the Canberra Cup by more than four lengths in September, but was spelled after a disaster trip in a race in Dapto in which she could never get clear running room.

Champion Model has since had a month’s let-up, but did trial at Wentworth Park last Saturday night in a competitive 30.12, so should be in with a winning chance this evening.

In other action at Wentworth Park tonight, Allonsy Grace will attempt to build on her surprise third placing in last weekend’s Group 1 Vic Peters Classic, when she competes in the 3/4th grade Christmas Night On December 16 Stakes (race nine, 520m).

Allonsy Grace, trained by John James near Kempsey, was a model of consistency throughout the Vic Peters series, finishing in the placings in her heat and semi final before setting the pace in the final only to tire in the later stages to finish third, just over four lengths behind race winner Crash Bandicoot.

Allonsy Grace will jump from box seven in tonight's race and will come up against Asa Barboza and the in-form Megalodon.

Another greyhound to watch is Zippy Ethics, who will have her first start at Wentworth Park in the 5th grade gapnsw.com.au Stakes (race 10, 520m).

The lightly raced Zippy Ethics has looked a very promising type, winning five of her 12 races, including an impressive last start win at Gosford.

The David Smith-trained greyhound will jump from box three tonight and appears more than capable to win at her track debut.
