On 13 October 2017 the GRNSW Inquiry Panel charged trainer, Mr Peter Parker under rule 86(p) and 86(h) of the GRNSW Greyhound Racing Rules as follows:
That you, Peter Parker, a registered trainer, while at the Bathurst meeting on 31 July 2017, disobeyed or failed to comply with the lawful order of a Steward.
That you, Peter Parker, a registered trainer, while at the Bathurst meeting on 31 July 2017, you prevented the carrying out of a test.
Following the admission of the charges by Mr Parker, the Inquiry Panel determined that the appropriate penalty in the circumstances was to impose a period of disqualification of 20 months.
