Decision - Richard Vrckoff

By Greyhound Racing NSW

On 14 August 2017 the Greyhound Racing NSW (GRNSW) Inquiry Panel charged trainer Mr Richard Vrckoff under rule 83(2) of the GRNSW Greyhound Racing Rules as follows:

That you, Richard Vrckoff, a registered trainer, while in charge of the greyhound ‘Barcia Bec’, presented the greyhound for the purpose of competing in race three at the Grafton on 13 May 2017 in circumstances where the greyhound was not free of any prohibited substance.

The prohibited substance was cobalt.

Following Mr Vrckoff’s early admission to the charge and consideration of the mitigating factors, the GRNSW Inquiry Panel has determined to impose a period of suspension of 12 weeks.
