Decision - Bradley Ashton

By Greyhound Racing NSW

On 23 May 2017 the Greyhound Racing NSW (GRNSW) Inquiry Panel charged trainer Mr Bradley Ashton under rule 83(2) of the GRNSW Greyhound Racing Rules as follows:

That you, Bradley Ashton, a registered trainer, while in charge of the greyhound ‘Beegumbah Rumba’, presented the greyhound for the purpose of competing in race five at Wentworth Park on 22 February 2017 in circumstances where the greyhound was not free of any prohibited substance.

The prohibited substance was theobromine.

Following Mr Ashton’s early admission to the charge and consideration of the mitigating factors, the GRNSW Inquiry Panel has determined to impose a period of suspension of 12 weeks.
