The Greyhound Racing NSW (GRNSW) Inquiry Panel charged trainer Mr Patrick Parrelli under rule 86(ag) of the GRNSW Greyhound Racing Rules as follows:
That you, Patrick Parrelli, a registered trainer, failed to comply with the Race Day Hydration and Hot Weather Policy when you kennelled the greyhound ‘Devine Ivy’ at the Maitland greyhound meeting on 6 April 2017 by failing to provide water to the greyhound in accordance with the policy.
During an Inquiry on 26 July 2017, Mr Parrelli admitted to a breach of the rules. The GRNSW Inquiry Panel determined to impose a period of suspension of eight weeks, wholly suspended subject to conditions.
