Decision - Maralyn Moore

By Greyhound Racing NSW

On 20 June 2017 Greyhound Racing NSW (GRNSW) charged trainer Ms Maralyn Moore under rule 83(2) of the GRNSW Greyhound Racing Rules as follows:

That you, Maralyn Moore, a registered trainer, while in charge of the greyhound ‘Swift Attitude’, presented the greyhound for the purpose of competing in race 11 at Coonabarabran on 17 April 2017 in circumstances where the greyhound was not free of any prohibited substance.

The prohibited substance was cobalt.

Following Ms Moore’s early admission to the charge and consideration of mitigating factors, the GRNSW Inquiry Panel has determined to impose a period of suspension of 12 weeks.

Ms Moore has been notified of her rights of appeal.
