Decision - Gary Wilton

On 21 June 2017 Greyhound Racing NSW (GRNSW) charged trainer Mr Gary Wilton under rule 83(2) of the GRNSW Greyhound Racing Rules as follows: 

That you, Gary Wilton, a registered trainer, while in charge of the greyhound ‘Nagoa Princess’, presented the greyhound for the purpose of competing in race four at Muswellbrook on 9 April 2017 in circumstances where the greyhound was not free of any prohibited substance.

The prohibited substance was arsenic.

Following Mr Wilton’s early admission to the charge, the GRNSW Inquiry Panel has determined to impose a fine of $875.
