Decision - John Hill

By Greyhound Racing NSW

On 4 May 2017 Greyhound Racing NSW (GRNSW) charged trainer Mr John Hill under rule 83(2) of the GRNSW Greyhound Racing Rules as follows:

That you, John Hill, a registered trainer, while in charge of the greyhound ‘China Oak’, presented the greyhound for the purpose of competing in race six at Wagga Wagga on 14 January 2017 in circumstances where the greyhound was not free of any prohibited substance.

The prohibited substance was arsenic.

Following Mr Hill’s early guilty plea to the charge, GRNSW Stewards have determined to impose a fine of $625.
