Tiempo Dinero Set To Be On Time At Bulli

By Stuart Turner

Recent Group 3 Nowra Puppy Classic winner Tiempo Dinero will have his first look at the 515m at Bulli on Saturday night, as he aims for his third win in a row.

The Donna Campbell-trained greyhound jumps from box three in the second heat of the 5th grade Ladbrokes Monthly Medal (race eight, 515m).

Tiempo Dinero has already enjoyed plenty of success over the 472m at the NSW South Coast track, scoring three wins and two minor placings in six previous visits to the track.

The son of El Grand Senor and Time And Money won from box three in the $25,000-to-the-winner final at Nowra on April 24 and Campbell believes her in-form greyhound should be suited to this trip.

"I can see him being a really good greyhound over the 515 metres (at Bulli)," she said.

“He's such a big, strong greyhound and he should be well suited to that distance. He is 40 kilos and turns corners like a steam train, but he's good.

"I know the owners would like to see him at Wentworth Park but he might need a bit more experience first. We'll maybe work him through the grades at Bulli first."

Of the competition, Et Cetera (box seven) is the only one of the field to have seen this trip before, clocking a decent 28.93 victory in June last year.

In other action at Bulli on Saturday night, class act Wicked Warrior (box eight) can return to winning ways with victory in race five over the 590m.

One of NSW’s top current greyhounds, Wicked Warrior has gone unplaced in his last two runs in strong company but had won seven of eight prior starts.

The Jason Magri-trained greyhound has won two of his five previous visits to Bulli and has the strength to cope with this distance.

Beegumbah Rumba is an explosive talent at his best and looks the best bet in the first heat of the Ladbrokes Monthly Medal (race seven, 515m).

Beegumbah Rumba placed behind track record breaker Aston Dee Bee at Bulli last week and is in good form, with two wins from his last three starts.

Mitra (box two) was a good winner in a heat of the Bathurst Gold Cup and looks the best bet in the 4/5th grade Ladbrokes Odds Boost Stakes (race six, 472m).

The night’s racing also features two heats of the $6000-to-the-winner Graham Gibbons Memorial over the 472m.

Light ‘Em Jax, a newcomer from the premier Jason Mackay kennel, looks the top pick jumping from box two in the first heat (race one).

Lagoon Rhett (box eight) is another handy-looking newcomer and is the standout chance in the second heat (race three).
