Decision - Robert Hobson

By Greyhound Racing NSW

On 28 February 2017 Greyhound Racing NSW (GRNSW) charged trainer Mr Robert Hobson under rule 83(2) of the GRNSW Greyhound Racing Rules as follows:

That you, Robert Hobson, a registered trainer, while in charge of the greyhound ‘Velodrome’, presented the greyhound for the purpose of competing in race five at Moree on 12 November 2016 in circumstances where the greyhound was not free of any prohibited substance.

The prohibited substance was arsenic.

Following Mr Hobson’s early guilty plea to the charge, GRNSW Stewards have determined to impose a fine of $750.
