On 22 December 2016 Greyhound Racing NSW (GRNSW) charged trainer Mr Arthur Langman under rule 83(2) of the GRNSW Greyhound Racing Rules as follows:
That you, Arthur Langman, a registered trainer, while in charge of the greyhound ‘Nitro Monkey’ presented the greyhound for the purpose of competing in race four at The Gardens on 9 September 2016 in circumstances where the greyhound was not free of any prohibited substance.
The prohibited substance was salbutamol.
Following Mr Langman’s early guilty plea to the charge and consideration of all the circumstances, GRNSW Stewards have determined to impose a fine of $500.
