Fenwick-Benjes Issued With Interim Suspension

By Greyhound Racing NSW

Greyhound Racing NSW (GRNSW) has received confirmation of the presence of cocaine, benzolecgonine and ecgonine in the urine sample taken from the greyhound 'Arlo MArlo’ after it competed in race one at The Gardens on 23 December 2016.

Morgan Fenwick-Benjes, the licensed trainer who presented Arlo MArlo for the event, has been advised of the confirmation.

Due to the nature of the prohibited substance detected, which is a category 2 substance under the GRNSW Penalty System, GRNSW Stewards have determined to impose an interim suspension of Mr Fenwick-Benjes' licence - in accordance with Gar 92(5) - pending the outcome of an inquiry.
