By Greyhound Racing NSW

On 14 October 2016 Greyhound Racing NSW (GRNSW) charged trainer Mr Ron Bell under rule 83(2) of the GRNSW Greyhound Racing Rules as follows:

That you, Ronald Bell, a registered trainer, while in charge of the greyhound ‘Camacho’ presented the greyhound for the purpose of competing in race nine at Gosford on 21 June 2016 in circumstances where the greyhound was not free of any prohibited substance.

The prohibited substance was o-desmethylvenlafaxine.

During an inquiry on 23 February 2017, Mr Bell was found guilty of the charge. The Stewards have determined to impose a fine of $2000.
