Jeanette Foley Issued With Interim Suspension

By Greyhound Racing NSW

Greyhound Racing NSW (GRNSW) has received confirmation from Racing Analytical Services Ltd of the presence of amphetamine and benzoylecgonine in the urine sample taken from the greyhound 'Queen Taro' after it competed in race one at Wentworth Park on 9 November 2016.

Jeanette Foley, the licensed trainer who presented Queen Taro for the event, has been advised of the confirmation.

Due to the nature of the prohibited substance detected, which is a category 2 substance under the GRNSW Penalty System, GRNSW Stewards have determined to impose an interim suspension of Ms Foley's trainer licence, in accordance with Gar 92(5), pending the outcome of an inquiry.
