Decision - Scott Austen

On 20 September 2016 Greyhound Racing NSW (GRNSW) charged trainer Mr Scott Austen under rule 84(4) of the GRNSW Greyhound Racing Rules as follows: 

That you, Scott Austen, a registered person, had in your possession, a quantity of a prohibited substance, at a place used in relation to the training of a greyhound on 29 June 2016. The prohibited substance was found to be human growth hormone, the active ingredient for Novatropin.

Following Mr Austen’s early guilty plea to the charge, GRNSW Stewards have determined to impose a fine of $750.
