Decision - Scott England

By Greyhound Racing NSW

On 29 November 2016 Greyhound Racing NSW (GRNSW) charged trainer Mr Scott England under rule 83(2) of the GRNSW Greyhound Racing Rules as follows:

That you, Scott England, a registered trainer, while in charge of the greyhound ‘Absolute Hoot’, presented the greyhound for the purpose of competing in race three at Maitland on 7 July 2016 in circumstances where the greyhound was not free of any prohibited substance.

The prohibited substance in this instance was amphetamine.

Mr England failed to respond to the charge. After considering all the evidence before the inquiry, GRNSW Stewards found Mr England guilty of the charge and determined to impose a period of disqualification of two years and 12 weeks.

Mr England has been notified of his rights of appeal.
