Decision - Scott Boole

By Greyhound Racing NSW

On 19 September 2016 Greyhound Racing NSW (GRNSW) charged trainer Mr Scott Boole under rule 83(2) of the GRNSW Greyhound Racing Rules as follows:

That you, Scott Boole, a registered trainer, while in charge of the greyhound ‘Big Bago’, presented the greyhound for the purpose of competing in race nine at Tweed Heads on 23 April 2016 in circumstances where the greyhound was not free of any prohibited substance.

The prohibited substance in this instance was cobalt.

Mr Boole failed to respond to the charge. After considering all the evidence before the inquiry, GRNSW Stewards found Mr Boole guilty of the charge and determined to impose a period of disqualification of 24 weeks.

Mr Boole has been notified of his rights of appeal.
