On 12 August 2016 Greyhound Racing NSW (GRNSW) charged trainer Mr Chad Garrard under rule 84(4) of the GRNSW Greyhound Racing Rules as follows:
That, on 8 March 2016, you, Chad Garrard, a registered public trainer and breeder, had in your possession at your registered address a quantity of prohibited substances that were not labelled or prescribed, in compliance with the relevant State or Commonwealth legislation.
Following the Mr Garrard's early guilty plea to the charge, GRNSW Stewards have determined to impose a fine of $225.
