On 20 September 2016 Greyhound Racing NSW (GRNSW) charged trainer Ms Karina Britton under rule 86 (o) of the GRNSW Greyhound Racing Rules as follows:
That you, Karina Britton, a registered person, disobeyed and failed to comply with the lawful order of a Steward in circumstances where:
a) The Steward directed that you kennel Zeke Mundine following race two at the Bulli race meeting on 17 September 2016; and
b) You were acting as the handler of the greyhound at the relevant time.
Following Ms Britton’s early guilty plea to the charge and further submissions as to penalty, GRNSW Stewards have determined to impose a fine of $500 of which $350 will be suspended for six months subject to good behaviour.
