Decision - Garry Kedwell

By Greyhound Racing NSW

On 2 September 2016 Greyhound Racing NSW (GRNSW) charged trainer Mr Garry Kedwell under rule 83(2) of the GRNSW Greyhound Racing Rules as follows:

"That you, Garry Kedwell, a registered trainer, while in charge of the greyhound ‘Taro Tron’, presented the Greyhound for the purpose of competing in Race 11 at Wentworth Park on 18 May 2016 in circumstances where the greyhound was not free of any prohibited substance."

The prohibited substance was methylprednisolone.

Following Mr Kedwell’s early guilty plea to the charge, GRNSW Stewards have determined to impose a fine of $750.
