Group race winners Bessy Boo, Brad Hill Billy, Knight Sprite and CASH In Motion headline the star-studded nominations for this year's NSW leg of the AGRA National Championship.
The quartet are among the 20-strong field for the heats of the state qualifier, taking place at Wentworth Park on Saturday, August 6 over the 520m.
Recent Group 1 Peter Mosman Classic placegetter Ritza Lenny, in-form duo Fantastic Skye and Good Odds Angel and exciting newcomer Benteke (pictured) are also among the hopefuls.
Heat winners progress to the NSW Sprint Championship, which takes place at the Sydney track on Saturday, August 13.
The eventual winner of the NSW leg automatically qualifies for the AGRA National Sprint Championship, which will feature heat winners from across the country.
My Boy Brodie, winner of the recent Group 1 Gold Cup at Queensland’s Albion Park, leads the nominations for the NSW Distance Championship (720m) heats.
Exciting trio More In Store, Whittaker and Cardiology are also among the 17 nominations for the Distance heats, which also take place on August 6 at Wentworth Park.
Western Sydney trainer Dean Swain has four contenders for the NSW Distance Championship - Ella Has Class, Miss Foxy Lee, Runway Bono and Whispering Soul.
The NSW Distance final also takes place seven days later, with the winner securing a place in the National Distance Championship.
The Group 1 AGRA National Sprint Championship (515m) and the AGRA National Distance Championship (731m) take place at Angle Park on Saturday, August 27.
