GRNSW To Distribute Prizemoney From Meetings

By GRNSW

Greyhound Racing NSW (GRNSW) will distribute prizemoney from the scheduled TAB meetings abandoned as part of the suspension of racing to each trainer and owner who had greyhounds racing at those meetings.

GRNSW temporarily suspended racing last Thursday while it assessed the NSW Government’s decision to permanently shut down greyhound racing in NSW.

The total prizemoney from each meeting will be distributed between trainers and owners who had a confirmed starter in each race at the affected meetings between last Thursday and this Wednesday, when racing re-commences at the NSW TAB tracks.

The meetings affected were Dapto (Thursday), Grafton, Unibet Gardens, Wagga and Richmond (Friday), Unibet Gardens, Wentworth Park and Bulli (Saturday), Bathurst and Nowra (Monday) and Gosford and Casino (Tuesday).

The money will be paid into the nominated bank account of each eligible trainer and owner by this Friday. Monies paid will be based on prizemoney splits as outlined in the OzChase system.

Trainers should note that scheduled finals from each of these meetings will be carried over to the next meeting at each respective track.

Any trainer or owner who needs to check payments have been made should contact GRNSW’s Finance department on 8767 0500.
