Bella Can Do Looking Four-Midable At Bulli

By Stuart Turner

Bella Can Do can continue her flying form with victory in the Ladbrokes Bet Better Sprint Final (472m, race seven) at Friday night’s Bulli meeting.

The Mary Spiteri-trained greyhound jumps from box three in the decider aiming for a fourth consecutive victory.

Bella Can Do was a commanding five-length winner in last week’s heats, cruising home in an impressive 26.29.

This will be a first start from box three and only her third go over this distance, but she looks to hold the aces in this race.

“This draw should help her,” Spiteri said.

“She wants the rail but if she cannot get through, she tries to go around them and coming home she works her way to the rail.

“I’m not sure if she can improve time-wise from last week (but) she knows how to work through a field and she’s looking good in herself. It’s a tough race and I’m not overly confident, but she can win.

In other Bulli Friday action, the DEAN Swain-trained Hernando Kahn (box four) looks the night’s best bet in race two.

Hernando Kahn has placed four times in six starts so far, including three times at Bulli and should improve on last week’s runner-up finish.

Cardiology (box three) has been in sound recent form, including a triumph at Richmond two starts back, and can win a 4/5th grade event (race six, 590m).

The Kayla-Jane Coleman-trained greyhound looks well suited to this distance and won over the 590m at Bulli in March.

The Ron Marsden-trained Hardaway Highway and Hardaway Outlaw look capable of scoring victories in races nine and 10 (472m and 400m respectively).

Hardaway Highway (box six) has continued his terrific year recently with four consecutive placings and has a good record at Bulli.

Hardaway Outlaw (box two) is an infrequent winner but has triumphed in two of his three previous starts with the checks and placed well at Bulli three starts back.
