Due to significant flooding of the Lismore track, Grafton will replace Lismore next Tuesday 14 June 2016.
The meeting will carry the same prizemoney as a standard category B Lismore meeting, however for grading purposes the meeting will be a C meeting so as not to disrupt the grades of greyhounds that compete regularly at Grafton.
At this stage, it is envisaged that Grafton will only replace Lismore for next week’s meeting. A further decision about future meetings scheduled for Lismore will be made in the coming weeks as track damage and alternative racing options are assessed.
Due to concerns about the adequacy of the lighting, Casino was not considered to race next week in the place of Lismore’s night time race meeting.
This may not be the case moving forward, however, as various potential solutions will be evaluated in the weeks to come regarding the scheduling of replacement meetings.
Please note that nominations for the transferred meeting will close at 9am Thursday 9 June 2016.
