Due to significant rainfall overnight in Sydney and a further 50mm plus to come in coming hours, Wentworth Park tonight (June 4) has been abandoned.
The conditions have resulted in significant damage to the track which can be repaired if conditions allowed, however ongoing rain means the track is no longer suitable for racing.
The Group 1 Peter Mosman heats and Ladbrokes Monthly Medal events will be abandoned and new nominations called for. Both events are being rescheduled for Saturday, June 11, with fresh nominations called for. Nominations will close on Tuesday, June 7 at 9am with Greyhound Racing NSW.
The Group 1 Peter Mosman will remain a three week series with heats June 11, Semi-Finals June 18 and Final June 25.
